Our Story
Our mom, Julie, grew up in the tiny village of Mesadidima on the island of Chios. From that hillside home to becoming a Yiayia to ten grandkids, one thing never changed — the way she loved through food.
Her recipes traveled with her across oceans and through decades. They filled our home, shaped our memories, and became the flavors that anchor our family. Even now, with grandkids grown, the Yiayia in her is as strong as ever.
Julie’s Greek Kitchen was created to share that love. Every dish carries a piece of the homeland, made with the same warmth she taught us, now prepared here in Greenville, South Carolina.
